Ohio born painter Elaine Hollander moved to Bucks County in 1978. She works primarily in transparent watercolor. Hollander's paintings tend to imitate photographic realism by glazing, or layering, the paint and emphasizing the fine details of the subject. Her subject matter includes historic landmarks of the Bucks County area and antique architectural objects. She currently resides in Warminster, Bucks County.
